How to Install the Stingray Wheel Lock

1. Prepare the Lock - Unfold the Stingray Wheel Lock fully so both arms are extended and readyto fit over the steering wheel.
2. Position on the Steering Wheel - Place the lock across the steering wheel so that:

• The main arm rests securely on front of the steering wheel as shown, The second arm extends across to the opposite side (Fig. 1).
• The two claws extend round the back of the steering wheel (Fig. 2) and clip into place (Fig. 3).
This dual-arm positioning prevents the steering wheel from rotating.

3. Secure the Lock - Ensure both arms are firmly positioned around the steering wheel.
4. Power on the Lock - Press the red button on the lock.
5. Activate the Lock - Download the Prism Security app from the Apple AppStore or the Google Play Store. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.Additionally, set the app’s location permission to “Allow all the time.”Otherwise, the app may not function properly.
Activate the Lock -
6. Follow the instructions to register & activate the lock.
7. Check Fitment - Gently attempt to turn the steering wheel to confirm it is fully immobilised.The wheel should not rotate.

Power On

Press the power button on the lock to turn on the device. The status indicator light will display the previous lock status:
• Green Light – Unlocked
• Red Light – Locked

Power Off

The device can be powered off in the following ways:
1. Automatic Shutdown
If no operation is performed, the device will automatically shut down after 3 minutes. If a lock or unlock operation is performed, the 3 minute countdown will restart.
2. Manual Shutdown
After the device has been powered on for at least 5 seconds, press the power button again to turn off the device.

PRISM Security App Registration

1. Register User –

When using the lock for the first time you will need to create an account in order to use the application. Click on the Sign Up button (Fig. 4). Enter a valid name, valid email address and password. Click on the OTP button. You will receive an OTP to your email address. Enter the OTP, password and click on Next button (Fig. 5). Please check your Inbox for the email. If you don’t see it, check your Spam folder as well.

2.  Set a 6 digit pin -

Next you will need to set a 6 digit pin for more security (Fig. 6). Confirm the pin & complete your registration (Fig. 7). Please remember your pin as you will need it for subsequent sign ins.

Sign In with Google -

To create an account usingGoogle. Select the Sign In with Google button (Fig. 4).

Reset Password

1. Forgot password -

Click on the “Forgot password?” option on the Sign In screen (Fig. 8). Enter your email address and tap the Confirm button (Fig. 9). A password reset link will be sent to your registered email address. Please check your Inbox for the email. If you don’t see it, check your Spam folder as well.

2. Email Reset Link -

Click on the reset link, it will navigate to a page where you can enter the new password and save (Figs. 10 & 11). Navigate back to the Prism Security app. Enter your email address and new password and click on Next. For confirmation it will ask for the 4th and 6th digit of the security pin. Enter the pin numbers and sign in.

Pairing the Lock

  1. 1. Pairing –

    For pairing the lock to app, click on the + icon in the top right of the screen (Fig. 12), app will scan for nearby locks and displays. If it’s not finding any device it displays “No devices found”. Turn the lock off & on and try scanning again. Once it finds the lock it will display the lock and Activate button. Click on the Activate button (Fig. 13).













    2. Activate the Lock -

    Enter a name for the lock. Click on the camera icon to scan the QR code included on the tag attached to the lock, it will read the security id and displays.If you allow the app permission to access
    your photos, a copy of the QR code will also be saved to your phone’s photo gallery for future reference.

    3. Check the lock is still powered on and click on the Activate button (Fig. 14). Once successful, it will navigate to the Devices screen, showing the “Device paired successfully” message (Fig. 15).

    IMPORTANT:Please retain your QR code tag. This will be needed to add future users.

Lock/Unlock the Device

1. Lock -

Click on the locklisted in Devices. It willnavigate to a screenwith the Lock & Unlockbuttons (Fig. 16). Forlocking the deviceclick on the Lockbutton, once its lockedit will display “Lockedsuccessfully” (Fig. 17) &the indicator light on thelock will turn red.

2. Unlock -

For unlocking the devices click on the Unlock button (Fig. 18), once unlocked it will display “Unlocked successfully” (Fig. 19) and the light on the lock itself will turn green.

Share the Lock

  1. 1. Share -

    You can share the lock with other users as well. Go to Settings click on the Share Lock button (Fig. 20). It will navigate to the screen with Share Lock and Lock requests buttons (Fig. 21). Click on the Share Lock button.


    PLEASE NOTE
    : The person you are sharing the lock with must have downloaded & be registered with the Prism App.


    2. Enter the email address of whom you want to share the lock with.


    3. Select the lock from the dropdown and click on Share Lock (Fig. 22). Once shared, shared lock status will be displayed as “pending” Once the other person accepts the lock status will be updated as “accepted”.


    4. The new user must go to Settings in their app,click on the Share Lock button (Fig. 20). It will navigate to the screen with Share Lock and Lock requests buttons (Fig. 21). Click on the Lock Requests button.




    5. Click on the green check mark icon to
    accept the lock (Fig. 23). Now Go to Devices (Fig. 12), click on the
    + icon, scan for devices. It will list the device. Click on the Activate button. Enter the name. Before scanning make sure the lock is not connected to any other devices.

Delete Lock

1. A lock can only be locked and bound by one user. If another user intends to bind the same lock, the original owner must delete the lock first before it can be bound by others. To delete a lock go to Settings (Fig. 24) click on Delete Lock, it will navigate to the screen with a list of all the locks added (Fig. 25). Choose the lock you want to remove, click on the delete icon, an alert will be displayed with a cancel and delete button. Once the user clicks on Delete, the app will prompt the user to enter their PIN to complete the action (Figs. 26-27).

Change Password

1. The user has the option to change the password. Go to Settings, click on Change Password & PIN option. It will navigate to a screen where Reset Password with PIN and Reset PIN with Password buttons are displayed. Click on the Reset Password with PIN button (Fig 29). Enter the current PIN, new password and click on the Continue button (Fig. 30).

Change PIN

1. The user has the option to change the PIN. Go to Settings (Fig. 31). Click on the Change Password & PIN option.It will navigate to a screen where the Reset Password with PIN and the Reset PIN with Password buttons are displayed (Fig. 32). Click on the Reset PIN with Password button. Click on the Get OTP button (Fig. 33), it will send a OTP to your registered email address, which will be valid for 5 min. Enter the OTP and new PIN and click on Continue (Fig. 34).

Battery Charging Indicator (Lock)

Charging: Slow flashing red light.
Fully Charged: Solid green light
Low Battery Warning: When the battery level reaches 20%, the device will flash a red light rapidly approximately 10 seconds after being powered on, indicating that the battery is low and needs to be recharged. Charge using the included USB cable.
If purchasing a separate USB cable, consumers should choose one capable of supporting a 2A current, otherwise the charging speed will be affected.
The charging voltage must not exceed 6V, as higher voltages may cause overheating.

Battery level Indicator (App)

The battery level is displayed in the app using colored bars to indicate the remaining battery voltage.
3 Green Bars: The battery is fully charged or nearly full.
2 Green Bars: The battery level is moderate.
1 Gray Bar: The battery level is low. Please prepare to recharge.
0 Bars (Red Indicator): The battery is critically low. Please recharge immediately.

How to Remove the Lock

1. Use the app-enabled unlocking function to disengage the lock.
2. Unclip the claws & fold the main arm slightly inward once unlocked.
3. Remove the lock from the steering wheel.
4. Store the folded unit safely inside your vehicle.

Storage

Thanks to its compact folding design, the Stingray Wheel Lock can be easily stored in your vehicle when not in use without taking up unnecessary space.
Do not store the product in a humid environment for extended periods.
